Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Ignite: Startup Planner mobile application ("the App") and this website ("the Site"), operated by Guy Luz ("we", "us", or "our"). By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the App or Site, you agree to these Terms.

1. Acceptance

If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App or Site. If you are using the App on behalf of a minor, you represent that you are the minor's parent or legal guardian and accept these Terms on their behalf.

2. What Ignite is — and what it is not

Ignite is a planning and ideation tool. It uses AI to analyse the startup idea you describe, produce a viability score, and generate a suggested action plan.

Ignite does not provide financial, legal, tax, accounting or investment advice, and it is not a substitute for professional advice or your own due diligence. Any decision you make about starting, funding or operating a business is yours alone.

3. AI-generated content and no guarantee of outcome

Analysis, scores, questions and action plans are generated automatically and may be incomplete, outdated or incorrect. We cannot guarantee:

  • the accuracy of any market, competitor or monetization assessment;
  • that a high viability score will lead to a successful business;
  • that a low score means an idea cannot succeed;
  • any particular revenue, funding or business result.

Always verify important facts independently before acting on them.

4. License

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download and use the App for your own business planning purposes on devices you own or control.

You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, decompile, distribute, sell, rent, sublicense, or create derivative works from the App except as expressly permitted by applicable law.

5. Your content

You keep ownership of the ideas and text you enter. You grant us a limited license to process that content — including by sending it to our AI service providers — solely to generate your results and operate the App.

You are responsible for what you submit. Do not enter content that is unlawful, infringes someone else's rights, or contains confidential information you are not allowed to share.

6. Accounts

Some features may require an account. You agree to provide accurate information, keep your credentials secure, and accept responsibility for activity under your account.

7. Intellectual property

All App content, branding, text, graphics, logos, and software (other than content you submit) are owned by us or our licensors and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. "Ignite" and associated branding are our trademarks in the context of this App.

8. User conduct

You agree not to:

  • use the App for any unlawful purpose;
  • attempt to interfere with the App's operation or security;
  • scrape, bulk-export, or resell App output as your own service;
  • use the App to generate misleading or deceptive business claims.

9. Updates and changes

We may update the App, Site, content, or these Terms at any time. Material changes to these Terms will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

10. Third-party services

The App relies on third-party services, including AI model providers, cloud hosting and app stores. We are not responsible for third-party content, policies, or practices. Your use of Google Play, the Apple App Store, or external sites is subject to their respective terms.

11. Disclaimer of warranties

THE APP AND SITE ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely accurate at all times.

12. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP OR SITE.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OR THE APP SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM, OR USD $10 IF YOU USE THE FREE VERSION.

13. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the App. You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it from your device.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Israel, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where mandatory consumer protection laws in your country of residence provide otherwise.

15. Privacy

Our collection and use of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy.

16. Auto-renewable subscriptions

The App offers optional auto-renewable Premium subscriptions that unlock additional features such as AI idea improvement and text-to-speech for your plan.

Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase. The subscription automatically renews unless it is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period. You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your App Store or Google Play account settings after purchase.

For purchases made on iOS, Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies: Apple Standard EULA.
